Scimitar Smile

From the sandy shores, she beckons

Her stormy eyes reflect the oceanic wrath

She watches the tides ebb and flow

In answer to the summons of the moon

The weary and worn-out, tempest-tossed travellers

Shipwrecked and devastated, listen to her calls

Her face: a satin moon cradling a crescent of a smile

Scimitar hidden in her beautiful features

Waits patiently for the prey to turn
