Too Faraway

She sits on the wild grass, amidst daisies
Aloof, surrounded by a marine museum
Bubbles of thoughts poke around her head
Pushing through her fragile vivarium case

The raindrops race down her ivory skin
As she surfs on waves of mental pictures
Tracing patterns of deep-etched bruises
Drizzlestar scarves frame her raw contusions

She remains ensconced–forever lost
In a delirium carved out of vivid imagination
The chaos well-hidden beneath a face so sweet
Too faraway for wispy ripples from my flute to reach
