Through the craggy mountains, I move,
Caressed by a lonely cloud, my precious love.
The pleasantries of rills, and streams,
Bask among the golden daisies, and sunbeams.
Where my shepherd friends feed their flocks;
And birds sing serenades, perched atop rocks.
This world of mine, leaps with innocence bright;
Where doves woo dales, and swallows shine white.
Safe in mirth, the trees quiver with fruitage;
And musk-roses bless this mellow glory onstage.
