Above and beyond: where white birds soar,
And clouds gather to form mysterious shapes unknown.
Above and beyond: where moonbeams carry dreams,
Encased in pillowy curtains, on the midnight sheet.
Above and beyond: shy, where the moon peeks
From behind its veil, gliding on oceans of fantasies.
Above and beyond: where stars amass to wink with glee,
Like smiling seraphs planting silvered hope in saline tears.
Above and beyond: where teardrops glow like sequins dropped,
And solid hearts melt and sigh, carried by the fair winds far and wide.
Unresolved and exotic to me, the land of flying beings;
Too far to reach as I drift in between: as above, so below,
A red balloon with a string.
