50 Word Stories – Metamorphosis 

The change in her voice was nothing more than the first sign of a bad cold. Yet, her mother gave her a look which wrapped her in an atmosphere of uncertainty. When the caterpillar woke up from her unsettling dreams, she found herself on her bed changed to a beautiful butterfly.

    “उसके आवाज का बदलाव एक जुकाम के दस्तक से अधिक कुछ न था. पर फिर भी उसकी माँ ने इस नजर से देखा कि वो अनिश्चितता के माहौल में लिपट गई. जब वो इल्ली (कैटरपिलर) अपने अस्थिर स्वप्नों से बाहर आई, उसने तो खुद को अपनी ही शय्या पर तितली बना देखा.”

    1. Woot! Finally, my words made some sense. LOL. Jokes apart, thank you for the translation, and for the new word. I had no idea what’s a caterpillar called in Hindi. *facepalm*

      1. थोड़ी-थोड़ी हिंदी practice करा रहा हूँ. और आपसे english सीख रहा हूँ.और आज तो ईद भी है. इंशा-अल्लाह ‘इल्ली’ से ‘तितली’ दोनों बन ही जाएँगें.
