Day Ceases In Beauty (Micro-fiction)

Tufts of undyed clouds curtained the pearl-tinted sky. The sun tripped over them, and spilled its contents to emblazon the skyline with a brilliant shade of crimson. Its perfect claret hues permeated through the leaves, and a fiery sunset was revealed. The now hollow carapace of the sun dangled from the bare branches of the tree on the shoreline, awashed in the scarlet waves, waiting to be engulfed by the mid-sea blues of the wild ocean. Thus, the day ceased in beauty.
