Destined (Micro-fiction)

The dusty pink petals shone with austere brilliance under the dawn’s congenial roseate scarf. Scarlet, and aubergine cups held their drops of diamonds with brimming pride. Strewn over the earth’s plush verdant cushion were dazzling rhinestones. Miniature water ballerinas twirled, and sparkled on the tips of foliage in the first light of dawn. The dawn’s glory were soon to be the cause of the dusk’s mourning. The gems of amber delights were destined to be the tears of the pearly night blooms.
