Winter’s Lullaby

Subtle nuances of light–

Glimmers of silver hopes, and amber dreams,

In the placid winter sky

Lure me, away

From the unhorizoned inner peace–

A boundless ocean, within;

Wave, with a tranquil cadence–

A wintry lullaby of acceptance

Lulls me to a slumber

And, I sleep under my own skin–

Peacefully, again
