A Blank Canvas

Our lives are like blank canvases
Waiting to be filled in
By a gargantuan splash
Of emotions
Our brush
Glides gracefully
Through the ballroom
Of dreams and experiences
Fabricating memories
Hidden
Beneath the carefully and cautiously
Carved illusions
The colours drip down
Forming an abstract art
A reminder of our existence
Long after we depart

  2. Your poems are really beautiful. I loved this piece. 🙂
Our canvas is what defines us who we were when we depart from this world. So don’t just throw colors over that canvas. Draw something that reflects you, your life.
