Silently, it fell
Followed by a scrape
The forest echoed
With the sound of its ache
The setting sun
Cradled it, in its arms
The gentle breeze
Ruffled its leaves
And caressed it with love
The Mockingjays
Sang their songs
Perched, on the trees above
Silently, the old tree
Fell into a deep slumber
On the forest floor
Where, it lay in peace…forever
beautiful Soumya! 🙂

Short and swift like a brook, yet abounding in beauty. Nicely done 🙂
