Life is not a fairy-tale
Where all our desires prevail
Desires lead us astray
Clutching us as its prey
Devouring our minds
And jeopardizing our aims
Making us believe
In what’s not meant to be
But now I’m ready
To shake myself free
Free from them, obsessions
And poisonous emotions
‘Cause reality has struck me
And now I can see
That it was just not meant to be.

Lovely one again. The shackles of desire/ unrealistic expectations can hurt and bruise, truth is harder to digest but life becomes so much simpler then !
